The original Zippo 46402 lighter belongs to the Armor® series and features the minimalist High Polish Black Flame design.

The key feature of this model is its Armor® case. Armor lighters are made with a thicker metal case than standard Zippo models, giving the lighter a more substantial weight and feel. Armor models also feature the distinctive “A” marking on the bottom stamp.

The case features a High Polish Black finish — a deep black, highly polished surface with a glossy, nearly mirror-like appearance. There is no large artwork or lettering on the front. The only decorative detail is a small Zippo flame symbol positioned in the lower-right corner.

The Flame Design uses the recognizable flame shape from Zippo's brand identity as a subtle accent against the otherwise clean black case.

The lighter features Zippo's classic flip-top lid, all-metal windproof construction and distinctive Zippo “click.” It is refillable with lighter fluid, reusable and made in the USA.
